INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT COMPANY MEMBERS
What is Sinfonicron?
Sinfonicron spends the last few weeks of winter break working on a musical every year. We build the set, make the costumes, and learn the dances all in a couple weeks on a 9 to 5 schedule. Not only is it a great opportunity to do theater outside of a busy semester, but it is a great opportunity for making new friends!
Where do you live?
When you sign up to do Sinfonicron you are housed, generally off campus, in the house or apartment of a fellow company member. With your house you will compete in the House Cup, an informal contest where points are awarded for going above and beyond or winning challenges set up by the company manager.

What positions are available?
The executive board is elected in the spring and consists of the Director, Producer, Production Manager, Orchestral Director, Vocal Director, and Marketing and Outreach Director. Soon after these elections take place, the company votes on the show for the next year.
Designers and production staff apply for their positions in the summer and fall. Executive board members select these individuals. Check out “This Year's Production” for a list of typical available positions.
Permanent crew members work in paints, set, costumes, publicity, lights, sound, or props.
The cast and orchestra audition in the fall, and these company members serve on a temporary crew when not in rehearsals. Temporary crew members help production staff and permanent crew members and enjoy being involved with the production on another level.
